Saturday June
9th
We started on the pole in our heat and jumped out to the early
lead, but a few laps latter I lost my line and got passed. We came
in with a 3rd place finish.
Friday June 8th
We made a return to Callaway Raceway for some racing action.
We had a fast car and was looking forward to a good night of
racing.
Saturday,
June 2nd
Central Missouri Speedway, Warrensburg Mo.
Heat Race: 1st Feature: 7th
Heat race we started from the 2nd row outside, and going into
turns 1-2 on the first lap i shot to the middle of the two leaders
and took the lead down the back stretch and never looked back
winning the heat by almost 1/2 a straightaway.
For the feature we needed to
tighten up the car since the track was dry slick, but i was
thinking that with the midget sprints running tonight that the
track "might" take some rubber, so i didnt want to tighten up the
car too much.
But i guessed wrong on the
setup. The track never took rubber and i didnt have the car tight
enough. We came home with a 7th place finish. Wish i would have
made the extra changes to the car, but still a good night of
racing with no cautions in the feature, we ran green flag to
checkered flag, caution free.
Saturday May
26th
Central Missouri Speedway, Warrensburg Mo.
ULMA Memorial Weekend Duel Showdown: Night 2 Heat Race: 7th
Feature: 6th
Night 2 of the ULMA Special was
a good night. Heat race we lost our power to steering making it
difficult to handle the car without power running the rack &
pinion steering. A mud clog knocked off the belt that ran the
power steering pump for the rack & pinion.
We made the fix for the feature
and started 19th in the field and made a strong run to the front
for a 6th place feature finish.
With this finish it landed us 3rd place finish in the ULMA special
event points for this weekend, and finally moving us into the top
10 of the ULMA Championship points.
WIth a bad start to the season
and hopes of running for the ULMA title, we are back in
contingency for the championship finally.
Friday May
25th
Valley Speedway, Grain Valley Mo.
ULMA Memorial Weekend Duel Showdown: Night 1 Heat Race: 6th
Feature: 4th
This was our first trip to
valley Speedway and our first ULMA special of the year.
Heat race we had the car a
little loose, For the feature we tightened up the car and at the
drop of the green the car was working good. Several cautions flew
in the feature and as lap wound down the car was getting to the
tight side, we pull off a strong 4th place finish for our first
trip to this track and putting us 4th in the ULMA special points
standing for the 2 day shootout.
Saturday, May 5th
Central Missouri Speedway (CMS), Warrensburg, Mo. Heat Race:
2nd Feature: 5th
After a couple weeks off from racing while we got the car
repaired, we were ready to get back on the track and see how the
car was.
Friday April 20th
Callaway Raceway, Fulton Mo.
Heat Race: 2nd Feature: 15th DNF
Heat race we battled the #53 of Estes for several laps before
taking the lead going into turn 1.
